ONE SOLITARY LIFE

Christ Yeshua is the only reason for This Season.

 

Born in the obscure village of Bethlehem, He was the child of a peasant woman baptized Myriam and a journeyman carpenter named Yosef.

After the family had to flee for their lives, Yeshua grew up in Nazareth, where He worked in His father's carpentry shop until He was 30.

And for the last 3 years of His life, He was an itinerant preacher.

 

Yeshua:

° Never owned a home.

° Never wrote a book.

° Never held an office.

° Never had a family of His own.

° Never traveled more than 200 miles from the place He was born.

° Never accomplished secular deeds that coincide with greatness.

Yeshua had no credentials but Himself.

 

While still a young man, the tide of popular opinion turned against Him.

His friends ran away, and even one of the closest denied Him.

He was turned over to His enemies and went through the mockery of a trial.

He was brutally tortured and nailed upon a cross between two thieves.

And while He was dying, His executioners gambled for the only piece of property He owned on this Earth, His coat.

And when He was dead, Yeshua was laid in a borrowed grave thanks to the pity of a friend.

Twenty centuries have come and gone, and today He is still the centerpiece of the human race.

Considering all the armies that ever marched, all the navies that ever sailed, all the parliaments that ever sat, and all the kings that ever reigned……… 

All these mundane powers put together, have not affected the billions of lives on this Earth as powerfully as Christ Jesus has. James Allen Francis (Edited)
